History of Redeemer on the Mount Church

A small group of people began meeting regularly for Bible study, prayer and time together in September 2008. In October we held our first event, the Fall Festival at Dilworth Park. Over 150 people showed up! Over the next 6 months, ROMC organized Christmas celebration dinners, live music nights at a local coffeehouse, kid's events and service oriented activities. In June of 2009 regular Sunday worship services began at Alex and Jennifer's home. We worshipped there for 10 months.

On April 4th, Easter morning 2010, we had our first public worship service on Shiloh street, in the main business district in Mt Washington, just off of Grandview avenue. We worshipped at that location for a year and 4 months. Due to the high price of rent on Shiloh st, we could not afford the full lease price. That building is now leased by a bakery.

From July 2011-October 2012 we shared space with Grace Anglican church. Now, the Lord has opened a door for us to get back to a morning worship time, so we share space with Hilltop Methodist Church In Allentown.

Redeemer on the Mount Church has been blessed by God and used to impact this city. We continue to seek to invite people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
